Canon Rebel 450D XTIs Rumors *UPDATE* Jan 20
*UPDATE* Jan 20, 2008 - There are recent talks that suggest in camera stabilization to compete with Sonys prosumer DSLR and to try to increase its distance against the Nikon lower series cameras. Also a higher ISO and a new DIGIC III chip. LIVE View, and a possible VIDEO mode for the 450D XTIs. A possible announcement or “leak” could be as soon as Wednesday. *UPDATE* Jan 16, 2008 - A rumor bump about the 450D or the XTIs as some are calling it. Some of the rumors from a source suggest “It will be the Rebel XTs. Same sensor, 3″ screen, live-view, dust remover (already had in XTi), increased noise and DR performance (gaining of 2 stops more or so claims Canon), support for UDMA cards, Digic3, Canon wireless master built in, improved AF performance and 4 new cross sensors around the center AF point. Lastly from what I hear it should be priced at $599.” Also a product on amazon.com is selling a flash made for the canon 450D. Could this be insider knowledge? I suppose we will see in a few weeks. Northlight Images is saying that Canon will release the 450D (the 400D successor) and hold off on the 5D mark II or its successor until Augst. Check it out.
