Canon announces PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital ELPH

Submitted by Brandon on Thursday, 24 January 2008One Comment

The PMA 2008 convention in Las Vegas list for brand new products keeps getting more and more crowded. Canon just announced the PowerShot SD1100 IS Digital ELPH, a point-and-shoot that will feature five distinct colors and a slew of features.

Following the fine tradition of “cute” cameras, Bohemian Brown, Pink Melody, Rhythm and Blue, Golden Tone and Swing Silver will all be aesthetic options for the SD1100. Along with that, the technical aspects of the camera will include 3x zoom with image stabilization, a 2.5 inch display screen, face and motion detection technology and an eight mega-pixel resolution. All for a cool 249.99. You can read the Canon press release here.
