Canon announces world’s longest lens with image stabilization

Submitted by Brandon on Thursday, 24 January 2008No Comment

Why not make a little history? Canon just announced that it will be showing off the EF800mm f/5.6L IS lens at the upcoming PMA 2008 in Las Vegas. What’s the big deal? It’s the world’s longest lens with image stabilization. Now you’ll be able to shoot a game even in the nosebleed section of Dodger Stadium.

In this press release, Canon has said it’s introducing two new lenses. The already mentioned EF800mm f/5.6L IS lens and the EF200mm f/2L IS USM. Are you already getting your wallet ready? Is your family going to go hungry for a month? Thank goodness for Top Raumen.
