Canon update from PMA 2008

Submitted by Brandon on Sunday, 3 February 2008No Comment

Some rumors are still swirling around Canon and its releases for the PMA 2008. Here’s the latest…

According to some posts from the Sports Shooter message boards, you shouldn’t be holding your breath.

Check out this topic string on the SS boards here.

“There was no new Canon 6D nor the 100-400 F-4 IS lens at the show(all the canon reps just through up their shoulders and said they knew nothing on a new 5D coming out?)..these two will not show up until the 2008 summer olympics in china…also the inside word is that a MKIII-N is in the works and will not be out till the end of the year or 2009 and this cameras will be a redesign camera with a new design on the sub-mirror assembly inside”

However, keep in mind that the PMA 2008 isn’t over yet and Canon may be just keeping something under-wraps until the events nears its end and then they’ll make a big splash. Either way, we’ll definitely hear about it.
