Photographer Recreates Famous Photos with Legos.
Wow, these are just plain awesome. Not only are they well done, but very innovative too. The photographer pays a lot of attention to the detail in the recreations as well. Take a look. Feature Photographer of the Week:

Lighting Info: The main light was a Nikon SB-28 on 1/64 power mounted on a lightstand in a shoot through brolly box about 2 feet to camera left positioned slightly above the workers. The background was lit with an SB-24 on 1/16 power with a piece of white sheet over it to bring the power down even more. The idea was to get an outdoor look to the light, which meant a big soft lightsource. The umbrella is about as close as it can be without blowing out the scene at f2.8.

The original is somewhat more distressing than the Lego version. It’s the smiley faces that does it. Lego firearm from www.brickarms.com

You wouldn’t believe the number of times they fell over! I had to use tweezers to position the picnic plates.

Not quite as wide-angle as the original, but hopefully still recognizable.
