Nikon Lens Reviews
We’ve got a couple of Nikon lens reviews for you to take a look at today if you’re thinking about buying some new glass for that SLR of yours.
First up is the Nikon 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G AF-S VR DX NIKKOR. Which according to Digital Photography Review…
“The incorporation of VR technology allows photographers to take substantially sharper pictures at slower shutter speeds than previously possible, and according to Nikon’s own specifications, speeds up to three stops slower can be used before the image-degrading blur of camera shake becomes apparent. This should allow shooting in a wide range of low-light situations which would previously be impossible.”
It’s a general upgrade from the standard 18-55mm lens, but that’s not necessarly a bad thing.
For an ultra-wide angle lens, check out the Nikon 14-24mm f/2.8G ED AF-S.
“Though expensive, this lens will prove well worth its price to any Nikonian who needs maximum wide-angle views with a minimum of optical distortion.”The 12-24mm runs for $1,800, so be prepared to shell out some money.
