First look at the Fujifilm FinePix F100fd

CNet Asia has taken a first look at the highly anticipated Fujifilm FinePix F100fd, the successor to the already-popular FinePix F50fd. Is it going to live up to the hype?

The camera will feature a 28mm wide-angle lens with a 5x zoom, a high ISO of 12,800 (not sure how that will turn out), face detection and a 12 megapixel resolution. Here’s what CNet had to say…

“With so much hype generated already, the F100fd has large shoes to fill. The expanded dynamic range and new face detection technology sound really interesting and we certainly want to see how it performs. However, the weight and form factor may dissuade those who are looking for an ultraslim and light compact.”
