Link of the Day: Missouri Skies

Ah Missouri, the 18th most populous state in the union, purchased from France as part of the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 and home of the Gateway arch (it’s even bigger than the golden arches). It’s also has a website completely dedicated to the skies above “The Show Me State.”

Who knew that the skies above Missouri were this interesting…

Hale Bopp (by Dan Bush)

Rolling Cloud (by Dan Bush)

Cloud striations (by Dan Bush)

As you can see, all of these Missouri Skies photos (a website established in 1997) have been taken by Dan Bush. Considering the sheer scope of all the photos that he’s taken (Prairie shots, Aircrafts, Sunrises, Sunsets, Weather, the Moon, Venus, Mercury, and even a spy satelite), Bush is very commited the site and his images.

Missouri Skies is the place you want to be if you’re looking for amazing landscape photos.

… and for the record, it’s way better that Washington Skies. We’d probably have a few photos of the Space Needle and some cow-tipping and call it good.
