Amazing insect macro-photography

We talked about making a macro lens out of a Pringles can yesterday, but I’m pretty sure this guy didn’t use that technique. Although he did take some amazing shots of insects in his backyard.

Not sure how he got these bugs to sit still for so long, I can’t get within a meter of a fly if I have a rolled up newspaper in hand. Although if I have some food, I seem to attract them. Hmmmm…

The photography of Flickr, Lord V, gives this simple description.

Macro shots of various Insects or bugs
If you are trying to find a particular type of bug, it might be easier to look in the subsets of this.
All the shots are taken in my garden.

Here’s a sampling of what he took.
