D3X Rumors: Is Nikon going to replace or upgrade the D3?

There are rumors swirling around, there might be an update to the Nikon D3. Possibly the D3x? Wow, if these rumors are true Canon might have a little bit more competition. Check out the news below.

With the release of the D3’s new firmware, somebody got to looking around of the code of the program and found some interesting information…
The intrepid firmware sleuth searched the v1.10 code for the string “D3X” and came up with the following interesting bits of code:
