Transformer cameras that will morph your mind

We just ran across this intriguing device that was developed last year, when, as you may or may not remember, the Transformers movie was a blockbuster of sorts.

More than meets the eye? More or less. See, the image on the home page and above is just a composite put together on someone’s flickr site and the Real Gear Transfomer camera pictured above (the “Spy Shot 6”) doesn’t really work. So if you were going to “ask the photographer” about this particular post, you might ask, “Why are you posting things about toys?” and “Sweet mother of pearl, how can you justify spending time on something like this?”

Well, here are your answers:

Question #1: They look like cameras, and Transformers are cool.

Question #2: We’ll have to get back to you on that one. Meanwhile, we’ll be ordering a few of the Spy Shot 6 cameras for our desks from Toys’R’Us.
