NR reports upcoming announcement of new line of Nikon point-and-shoots

Nikon Rumors reports today that it is 99 percent sure we’ll hear about four new point-and-shoot cameras in the “S” series from Nikon on Wednesday, saying it had info that all four would use the EXPEED processor and have aluminum or stainless steel bodies.

Other details they mention include auto scene recognition and face detection, and designs that will be “Ok, but nothing fancy.” NR has had a series of posts speculating about new cameras from Nikon to be announced soon, and we hope Wednesday will come with an announcement that’ll prove them accurate.
