Canon Powershot G9 discontinued at B&H…Powershot G10 in the works?

It seems as though Canon’s 12.1-megapixel Powershot G9 has been discontinued over at B&H Photography–does this mean a new G series camera on the near horizon?
An upgrade certainly seems a likely scenario, though the $499 G9 already boasted impressive SLR-like features for a point-and-shoot, including the ability to handle a standard external flash.
