Nikon Rumors reported today that it had confirmed three new Nikon lenses to be released at Photokina—two fixed, wide-aperture lenses and a new 70-200 f/2.8 lens.
The site reports upcoming replacements for:

- The AF-S 50mm 1.4 (version G forthcoming)
- The AF-S 85mm 1.4 (version G forthcoming)
- The AF-S 70-200mm 2.8 VR (version II forthcoming)

There has been some talk of corner vignetting when the current 70-200 f/2.8 is used with the D3. A replacement would hopefully eliminate that problem.
