Canon implies impending announcement

Canon has hinted on several pages that a new EOS camera is forthcoming with text that reads, “The EOS story continues…see the future of photography…stay tuned…”

Could this be the 5D Mark II? We think there’s a strong possibility.

Check out Canon Europe for the best view of the teaser. On the Canon USA page there’s a dedicated teaser page announcing “destined evolution.”

We’ll post news here as soon as we know it.

    My wishful thinking;

    The Canon US-website seems to show a camera with a dial.
    The longed for successor of the venerable 5D?

    The UK-website shows a camera without a dail.
    The “inevitable” fix to the 1D Mark III, aka. 1D Mark IIIN or Mark IV?

    I’ll keep my fingers crossed that both these cameras will surface soon.
