Link of the day: Panoramic shot from the Eiffel Tower

If you’ve never been to the Eiffel Tower, here’s a link that could inspire you to go check it out for yourself: Photographer Denis Gliksman has posted on his site a 360-degree panoramic view from the midway point on the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

This technology is gaining speed and it’s a ton of fun to play with–you can look up, down and in a complete circle by dragging your cursor around the panorama.

Of course it’s no substitute for heading there yourself, and heading there yourself is precisely what we recommend you do (though of course you might want to wait until the value of the dollar passes that of the Mexican Peso before making the trip).
