Link of the day: Ever wonder what Canon lens innards look like?
An amateur photographer who’s Canon 17-85mm EFS lens kicked the bucket decided to disassemble it piece by piece, and he snapped photos of the whole ordeal.
Eerily, it was his aperture function that quit, and it quit right after snapping a photo of an art display featuring SEVERAL DOZEN APERTURE DEVICES. If that doesn’t strike you as quite the co-ink-ee-dink, it’s tough to say what will.
