Sigma announces firmware update for DP1

Sigma Photo has released a firmware update for its breakthrough DP1, the first compact camera to pack an SLR-sized, CMOS sensor.

The update to version 2.0 gives the 14-megapixel DP1 an ISO 50 setting for cleaner, noise-free shots. Additionally, users will be able to view a grid display when taking still images and they’ll be able to customize the digital zoom buttons, and each image’s magnification ratio will be displayed when reviewed in playback mode.
