Link of the day: Web site tilt-shifts your photos
Making full-sized objects look miniature in photos has skyrocketed in popularity recently, and even those without the tilt-shift lenses you need to pull that off have been using Photoshop to create the effect. This Web site does it with a lot less work on your part.
You simply upload a photo (up to 4 megabytes), select which area you want to be in focus and how wide you want that area to be–remember it’s that shallow, horizontal focal plane that pulls this illusion off–and then click a button.
That’s it. Your simulated tilt-shift photo will be ready for download.
The site, TiltShiftMaker.com, automatically deletes your photo after a day–it’s not an archival service like Flickr.
Below are before and after sample shots from when we tried it out.
