Panasonic updates Lumix DMC-G1 firmware

Panasonic has released a firmware update that the company says improves both performance and compatibility for the Lumix DMC-G1 Micro Four Thirds system camera.

Firmware version 1.2 for the camera makes the following improvements, according to Panasonic’s site:

1. Performances in the Auto White Balance and the color reproduction were improved.

2. A reliability on the flash operation in low temperature environments were improved.

3. File write back from PC to the camera was enabled also for the models shipped for Europe.
