Follow us to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and PMA

We’ll be giving you live updates throughout the upcoming week, starting as we follow photographers covering the NASCAR event in Las Vegas this weekend and finishing with reports from PMA 2009 next week.

Photographers and editors from Icon Sports Media, Inc. will be covering the Shelby 427 through Sunday in Las Vegas, shooting, processing and distributing thousands of images, and we’ll give you a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes for them to shoot and manage photos for a major NASCAR race.

Following that event, we’re staying on for PMA 2009–the biggest annual stateside gathering of major camera manufacturers. We’ve got interviews lined up with a number of major players in the industry, and we’ll give you timely updates about the new products and developments in the world of photography that we learn about.

Throughout the week, feel free to fire off any questions you have, and we’ll do our best to get them answered ASAP.
