Hello everyone!
I am writing a book and I have a scene taking place in the first half of the 90's. Just to give you very little background, there is a boy (Freshmen in High School) who dreams of becoming a photographer, but has never even owned a camera. However, he has read and learned everything available and now he's looking for a way to get into that world.
So he's walking in a park and sees a young photographer taking a picture of some red leaves in the snow and sees a chance to get himself hired as an assistant.
I need help with some “pro talk”.
First of all, the boy should be drawn to this photographer because he notices that the guy has amazing equipment. What would have been a terrific professional camera in the first half of the 90's, one that every pro would praise? And what kind of accessories would he be using with it in that situation?
Next, I need the boy to approach him and to impress him by making a suggestion or asking a question. It should be something technical, for example: are you using this or that? Then the photographer answers, and the boy asks back something about that choice. Three sentences in total, but that would sound very pro to a pro
Can anyone help please? Thank you!!! :)))))))
