I have a Canon Rebel XSi 450D, which has in-camera optical image stabilization (OS).  I plan to purchase a telephoto zoom lens and am considering two models, one of which features OS (Sigma 150-500mm) and one which does not (Sigma 50-500mm).  If the camera features OS, how important is it that the lens also contain OS?
