Blazers crush the Bulls
Here are a few frames from the Blazers/Bulls game tonight. I shot mostly from the stands and setup a remote on the post. I was there helping Jaime Valdez of the Tribune. Check out the Trib’s Sports Section for the game story and our combined slideshow. A photographer’s worst nightmare happened during the 4th quarter. Steve Blake tossed a pass to Joel Pryzbilla and then flew out of bounds, landing in between Tom Trieck and Jaime and splitting his head open on either Tom’s knee or a camera or something, nobody is sure. But Bruce Ely got a great shot of the aftermath. Blake needed 3 stitches. Other than that it was a really great game. The Blazers looked good and there were lots of great photos to be made. Be sure to check out Ely’s stuff on the Oregonian website, he is so good its sick.
