Looks like Canon US has finally announced the Rebel XS for the United States market. (They announced the camera in Europe on June 10th)
This Camera is supposed to be the bridge that will help people cross-over into the Dslr market from the point and shoot world.
Its priced at just $699 for the Camera and the 18-55 lens.
