Canon 1D Mark IIIN by Fall 08

It’s time for “Overheard Theater”, where we received a “tip” from a photographer who “Overheard” something.

This week, it’s between a freelance photographer and a Sports Illustrated Photographer at a PGA golf tournament in California.

Freelance Photog-”Shooting with two Nikons instead of Canon now?”

Si Photog-”If Canon would make a camera that focused I would be using them instead, but I guess I will have to wait till fall for that.”

Freelance Photog-”Fall? For a fix?”

Si Photog-”Not a fix, a new camera–the mark IIIN. They’re also talking about a trade in as well.” (for the old mark III)

Well, let’s hope they’re right because I am personally tired of the “fixes” and would welcome a trade-in with open arms. I suppose we will have to wait and see.
